Idk if this counts as a peeve more of an art-astronomy pet peeve
but when people draw the cresent moon and where the dark, shaddowed part of the moon is they put in stars
like studdenly that part of the moon is invisible instead of just being in the shadow
wait no peOPLE ACTUALLY DO THIS???
really stupid question though but like, aren’t there stars in front of the moon??? like??? space isn’t two dimensional so someone putting a couple stars in front of the shadow wouldn’t necessarily be wrong?? because aren’t there stars all around in space and?????? im just going to be confused forever frick uvu;
hun if there was a star infront of the moon we’d be dead
i’m fucking crying

For almost every day last month Malaysian artist/architect Hong Yi (who often goes by the nickname Red) created a fun illustration made with common (and occasionally not so common) food. Her parameters were simple: the image had to be comprised entirely of food and the only backdrop could be a white plate. With that in mind Yi set out to create landscapes, animals, homages to pop culture, and even a multi-frame telling of the three little pigs. The project, which still appears to be ongoing, has been documented heavily around the web, but if you haven’t seen it all head over to her Facebook and read an interview on designboom. Photos will also be appearing on her Instagram at @redhongyi.

Paralyzed Horse’s log, July 3rd, 3085. Everyday I hear and I see eternity, I am frozen in awe of my knowledge of forever. But I belong only to one girl, nowhere can I see more clearly than into her heart. When Beth feels heartbreak, I’m stranded in the Stygian Void, helpless to comfort her, for I am just a horse. Sleep now, Bravest Warriors, and dream of doors and keys and Ralph Waldo Pickle Chips. Today something unnatural has slipped into your universe, an octave of death, a tentacle of time, it is the final gift and it is not for you, Beth does not know it now, but this gift is for her.

In 2006 we made this little burger meal for a competition on Craftster.org. It got quite a bit of online traffic at the time. Couldn’t find the links, so I re-edited and uploaded these for Parisa.
Me and Mr L put it together, and all the food was edible: baby onion, american cheese, baby gherkin, homemade bun, handcut fries. I made the tray and the drink out of polymer clay and printed up the Craftster branding.
you could feed these to mushroom people
